The Ordnance Survey wants your organisation to be involved in the upcoming OS lnnovation Festival 26th March 2025.
The festival aims to tackle the challenges that impact everyone. Collaboration is key, so we’re bringing together innovators from our ecosystem of start-ups, partners and government stakeholders to build solutions to improve quality of life for everyone. Join us at Explorer House as we create solutions for markets from property to transport and biodiversity loss to data sharing.
Who is this event for?
This free event is for anyone who is involved in building solutions. We’ll have data boffins, business gurus and geospatial geeks. Policy leads and founders. CDOs, CTOs, and CIOs.
What will be happening?
It’ll be serious and fun all at the same time. We’ll be problem-solving in our market hacks and table talk sessions. We’ll have entrepreneurs and partners showing off their innovations. And our very own OS experts in data visualisation, technology and data science presenting their ground-breaking work.

How do we ensure there is robust water infrastructure in place to support a growing Britain? Co-hosted with Northumbrian Water, we’ll delve into how data can play a bigger part in shaping the water infrastructure needs of the future.

What private transport and business data needs to be unlocked and shared securely to facilitate better business operations and smoother journeys?
- Biodiversity
How do we measure biodiversity in a consistent, trusted, objective way and enable metrics on improvements or degradation?

How to do we create more efficient solutions for property retro-fitting? We’ll look at insulation, change of use, solar installation and more.
- Energy
What can we do to accelerate the energy transition and facilitate local energy action plans?
