Improving Access to Better Location Data with Claire Milverton

Cambridge, UK, 2nd February 2021, 1Spatial, the global geospatial software and solutions company, welcomes a presentation from Claire Milverton, CEO at the ‘Next steps for location data in the UK’ event, taking place on 11th February.

Hosted by Westminster Forum Projects, the conference examines the future for location-based data in the UK – looking at priorities for the UK’s Geospatial Strategy and for developing the geographic data market.

Throughout this online event there will be presentations, panel sessions and discussions around topics including the UK’s Geospatial Strategy, importance of accurate data, skills and commercialisation.

Claire’s presentation is based upon ‘Improving access to better location data and priorities for harnessing and safeguarding the data going forward’. The presentation will use case studies to demonstrate how bringing together geospatial with other data can solve real-world issues and some of the common barriers to solving these issues.  Claire will describe the current wide variety of data sources, and how 1Spatial technology helps its customers to achieve data integration, ensure high levels of data integrity and better governance for data sharing.

Claire joins a host of industry and keynote speakers and will be taking part in the panel discussion.

Claire commented: “It is a real honour to take part in such a key and high-profile event. I look forward to presenting alongside industry peers. My presentation will explore how unlocking the value of location data can create a more sustainable, safer and smarter world for the future. I look forward to networking and discussing the event topics with you”.
