MapInfo Pro v2021 Licences are due shortly

Cadcorp logo

MapInfo Pro v2021 was released last year but we have only been able to issue temporary licences so far.
Precisely have been introducing a new licensing process that has led to the delay of v2021 MapInfo Pro account-specific license keys being sent out.  They’re working very hard to resolve this as quickly as possible.  In the interim, a temporary key has been available, upon request, that is valid until 1st March 2022.

We now expect delivery of the new licence details by 28th January. If you are on a current Maintenance And Technical Support (MATS) contract or a new Subscription Licence, then we are expecting licence details to arrive with us the week following the launch.  We shall be working our socks off to get everyone’s licences out to you by email soon after.

v2021 of MapInfo Pro

This is the first major release under the Precisely ownership and offers some exciting new features:

  • New Time Series capabilities
  • New Select by Attribute tools
  • Tiled Server Reprojection (Bing Maps to British National Grid)
  • WFS 2.0 paging support for the new Ordnance Survey APIs
  • Expanded GDAL file format support
  • Multi-Resolution Virtual Raster (MVR) I/O
  • New support for Layer Filters
  • SQL Improvements
  • MapBasic support for building the ribbon interface
  • plus more…

Subscription Licences?
If you have dropped out of the annual MATS contract and want to upgrade to the latest version of MapInfo Pro (maybe you are still on a 32-bit version), then you would go straight onto the Subscription Licence. This is also cheaper than the upgrade + MATS cost.

If you have any questions or need pricing (there is still discounts for multiple licences), then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

If you need to get in touch with us, we ask that all initial communications are performed by email to sales@cdrgroup.co.uk as the best route to responding to you in a timely manner. We are gradually spending more time in the office and also working from home.
