Neil Brammall

I have worked in the utilities sector for 25 years, creating and delivering geo-spatial software solutions focused on reducing the risk of damage to buried assets, and on improving the accuracy and quality of the data held about those assets. I am a Technical Advisor to the Government Geospatial function and have been Product Owner for the National Underground Asset Register (NUAR) programme which is driving the delivery of a comprehensive and secure data sharing platform for buried assets. I have led on the development of the harmonised data model underpinning NUAR and am an editor of the international OGC MUDDI standard. I am a Chartered Geographer and Fellow of the RGS, a Chartered Engineer (MIGEM) and a Fellow of CICES.
