Astun Technology, the leading open source geospatial consultancy, is inviting existing and potential open source GIS users to its next User Group. The event will be held in Birmingham on Wednesday, December 13th.
The Astun User Group is well attended by GIS and Geospatial Support Managers, Senior GIS Officers, Corporate Database Managers and GIS & LLPG Managers.
This year’s agenda features table discussions on GIS ‘Hot Topics’, presentations by Astun clients and product/service overviews from the Astun team. These will include information about iShare Insights, a new integration with Power BI which makes it easy for non-GIS users to visualise and analyse spatial data, and Astun’s new Support Coverage which provides Enterprise grade support coverage for open source geospatial software.
Mike Saunt, MD, comments, “We’re seeing unparalleled interest in open source geospatial technologies and a drive for clients to share insights with each other. The User Group provides the ideal opportunity for public and private sector delegates to immerse themselves in the latest innovations and build valuable connections with other GIS specialists.”
