Early in 2021 AGI members contributed to a survey on open standards for geospatial information, asking whether the semantic, format, and API standards that UK data publishers are using suit data users. Inside and outside AGI, we had about 100 responses.
Ordnance Survey and BGS worked together to analyse the responses and make some recommendations for a number of audiences.
The Geospatial Commission funded the work and agreed the report, which is now available on the OS website, with a blog post intended to explain who would benefit from reading it. The three organisations wish to thank AGI and its members for supporting this activity with their ideas and input.
