Summary of the 4th December UK Location Council Meeting published

Following a request by the AGI, it was agreed that ahead of the publication of meeting minutes, the UKLC will also publish a brief summary report of UK Location Council meetings within 7 working days.

AGI Council Meeting Highlights, 8th December

AGI Council met at Land Registry in London on Tuesday 8th December.

The following list shows the salient topics covered:

  • Welcomed those newly elected members of AGI Council 2010 who attended the meeting as guests.
  • Expressed thanks to those leaving council and particularly the significant contribution from two departing past chairs, Alun Jones and Simon Doyle.
  • Approved the budget for 2010.
  • Discussed the draft 2010 Business Plan with a view to approving it on January 12th 2010.
  • Discussed the publication of the AGI Foresight Study - 'The Geospatial World 2015'.
  • Discussed the statement on the AGI website regarding Smarter Government.
