AGI Northern Ireland Conference 2025 – Call for Speakers

📅 Thursday, 12th June 2025 | 📍 Riddel Hall, Belfast
Theme: “Bridging the Divide: Advancing Geospatial Collaboration and Interoperability”

AGI Northern Ireland’s premier geospatial event returns on Thursday, 12th June 2025, and we are looking for speakers!

Northern Ireland’s geospatial landscape faces unique challenges and sometimes exclusion due to inconsistencies in wider UK and Irish datasets and projects. This year’s conference will focus on interoperability and collaboration, tackling these barriers to seamless data integration and showcasing innovative projects that have successfully bridged these gaps.

We invite geospatial professionals, policymakers, and data users to contribute thought-provoking presentations and help shape the conversation on:

  • Earth Observation techniques and methodologies
  • AI and advanced analytics for geospatial insights
  • Innovative approaches to interoperability and collaboration
  • Building geo-literacy to engage and empower communities

Have a great geospatial project or insight that falls outside this theme? We’d still love to hear from you as there may be room for additional topics!

We are seeking contributions in three formats (please indicate your preferred category in your submission):
📢 Full Presentation – 10-15 minutes (TBC)
