This years theme is ‘Sustainable Futures: Geospatial Innovations and Impacts’.

We are living through rapidly changing times and working within dynamic environments. In many cases, changing what we do and how we do it becomes essential to overcome the challenges we face.

This year we are highlighting geospatial innovation in public, commercial and academic sectors with particular focus on the following topics:

  • Earth Observation processes and methods.
  • Advances in new methods of data analytics such as AI technology.
  • Innovation through GI in regional and local government to meet budget challenges.
  • Building geo-literacy, innovative GIS interfaces (web apps/dashboards) and capabilities to engage communities and the public sphere.

We are also welcoming any presentations from the Northern Ireland GeoCommunity. If you would like the opportunity to present at our conference, please review our call for papers and send your response by 30 April 2024 to the new AGI NI Chair: Andrew Paul, apaul@imgs.ie

If you would like to sponsor the event, please contact our sponsorship coordinator: Michelle McKee, michelle.mckee@korecgroup.com

Watch out for more information regarding the event and AGI Northern Ireland coming soon.

We look forward to welcoming you all to our conference!
