Registration is open for the AGI Northern Ireland Conference, taking place on Thursday 13 June, at Riddel Hall, Queen's University Belfast.

This years theme is 'Sustainable Futures: Geospatial Innovations and Impacts'.

We are living through rapidly changing times and working within dynamic environments. In many cases, changing what we do and how we do it becomes essential to overcome the challenges we face. This year we are highlighting geospatial innovation in public, commercial and academic sectors with particular focus on the following topics:

  • Earth Observation processes and methods.
  • Advances in new methods of data analytics such as AI technology.
  • Innovation through GI in regional and local government to meet budget challenges.
  • Building geo-literacy, innovative GIS interfaces (web apps/dashboards) and capabilities to engage communities and the public sphere.
