Join us in person!

Thursday, 23 February 2023

COSLA Headquarters, 19 Haymarket Yards, Edinburgh, EH12 5BH

We are pleased to announce that this year’s AGI-Scotland annual conference will take place on Thursday, 23 February 2023. We are also delighted that after two years of hosting the event virtually we will once again be gathering in person.

The theme for this year’s event is “Scotland’s Resilience: The Geospatial Foundation”. In the digital era, geospatial technologies are revolutionizing the way we address social and environmental vulnerabilities. Join us at this year’s conference to hear how geospatial information and technology are being used to solve some of Scotland’s most pressing social and environmental challenges.

We have several fantastic speakers already lined up, including

John Seabourn, Chief Digital and Information Officer, North Sea Transition Authority
David Henderson, Chief Geospatial Officer, Ordnance Survey

If you would like to speak at this year’s conference or would like to suggest ideas for presentations that you would like us to consider, please contact us by 31 December.

If your company would like to sponsor this year’s event, please get in touch. We have several different sponsorship packages available.

This annual event is the biggest get together across Scotland’s GI community so please save the date and join us! Follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn, and members keep an eye on out for mailings for updates as we announce further details over the coming months.

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s AGI-Scotland conference.
